He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Lanier and Molly Dykes Lanier; and his sister Shirley Lanier Parmer. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his daughters, Jillyn Lanier Grace (John) and Lisa Lanier Carter (Doug); and his grandchildren, Bryant Grace (Katie), Trey Carter, Katherine Grace, Kate Lanier Carter and William Grace. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
