It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ila Greene in Florida State University, Florida, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Fichter and Ruth Fichter; her husbands, Donald Olmsted and John H. Greene; her children, Ruth Ann Olmsted and Daniel Greene; and her brother Henry "Hank" Fichter.
She is survived by: her children, Donald F. Olmsted, Jr., Christine Olmsted, Rebecca McGowin (Vernon), Andrew Greene (Kathy), Peter Greene, Victoria Anderson and Cynthia Self; her grandchildren, Ashley Olmsted, Lauren Olmsted, Amanda McGowin Sanchez, Brian McGowin, Abigail McGowin, Matthew Greene, Arikka Greene, Michael Greene, Cody Greene, Sierra, Jasmine, Marie and Ty; and her close friend Mike Herring. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
