He is survived by: his wife Shirley McCain; his daughter LeAnna Hersey; his brother Robert Hersey of Jacksonville; his sister-in-law Melanie Hersey of Jacksonville; his nephew Robert Hersey, Jr. of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Michael Larez, Keely Larez, Jacob Larez and Christopher Larez.
