She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Day and Louise Day; her son Curtis Sturdivant; and her grandchildren, Greg Queen and Jennifer Queen.
She is survived by: her husband Ed Sturdivant; and her children, Walter Sturdivant, Lynn Queen and Lori (Sam Underwood). She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
