It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Jean Hicks of Fleming Island, Florida, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Tarlton and Evelyn McAlister Tarlton; her stepfather Raymond McCall; her husband Jimmy Darrell Hicks; and her daughter Sandra Feilden.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jamie Coons (Samuel) of Fleming Island, FL and Donna Cohen (Billy) of Loganville, GA; her grandchildren, Caitlin Cohen Burton (Zeb), Andrew Cohen (Lauren), Samuel Coons (Katie), Chandler Coons and Wyatt Feilden; and her great grandchildren, Walker Maverick Burton and Hampton Hicks Burton. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
