She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Ayala and Juanita Santana; and her husband Feliciano Nieves. She is survived by: her daughters, Gladys Santiago, Hilda Nieves-Ayala and Iris Lozano; her siblings, Isabel, Lourdes, Dolly, Junior, Genevive, Joey, Judy, Paul and Myrta; her grandchildren, Gladimar, Joshua, Iraida, Laynie, Yalis, Moises and Angel; and her great grandchildren, Araceli, Zavier, Jasper, Orion, Zoe and Tala.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest (2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Rest Cemetery.
