He is survived by: his wife Noel; his children, Eileen Bennett, Bruce Bennett, Erin McDaid (Mike) and Kristen Barreto (Matthew); his grandchildren, Brian Boatright, Kyle McDaid, Avery McDaid, Drew McDaid, Sean Barreto and Ella Barreto; and his great grandchild Kolson McDaid.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (7190 Hwy 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073).
