He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hovis and Cora Whitworth Hovis. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Robert (Tina) and Chris (Amanda); and his grandsons, Matthew, Morgan, Carson and Caleb. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
