Though Renate may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Betz and Irma Silfang Betz of Friedrichshafen, Germany.. She is survived by: her sister Lore Betz Hermann of Germany; her children, Iris Straub, Isabel Straub, Ilona Pomeroy (Charles) and Patrick Straub; and her grandchild Grey.
