It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert F. Whitaker formerly of Fernandina, Florida, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Melba Prosser; and his sons, Jeff (Paige) and Brett (Jeanette). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in honor of Bob may be given to the respective building funds of First Baptist Church, Legacy Baptist Church, or Amelia Baptist Church.
