He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wesley and Helen Robinette Puckett; and his brother Wayne Puckett. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Kim Puckett Daugherty; his stepdaughters, DeAnn Shirley Brower and Kim Shirley Greene (Geoff); his grandchildren, Nick Daugherty (Veronica), Mary Hannah Snyder (Blaine), Chase Daugherty, Hunter Daugherty, Jake Greene, Rachael Brown (Dominique), Eric Brower (Devanshi) and Evan Brower; and his sister Darlene Brooks (Frank). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM at the A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the A. S. Turner & Sons (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A burial will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens (3000 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084).
