Ruth Templeton Adkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Templeton Adkins (Fernandina Beach, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Robert C. Adkins, Jr.; and her siblings, Diane Templeton Brown, Olletta Templeton Baggett and Charles Ollie Templeton, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Kyle Adkins (Kathy) of Folkston; her daughter-in-law Michelle Thiele Adkins of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Katy Ruth Huling (Benji) of Folkston, Rebeccah Phillips (Will) of Folkston, Heather Adkins of Valdosta and Charles Adkins (Katie) of Ft. Stewart, GA; her great grandchildren, Gabe Huling, David Huling, Sibley Ruth Phillips, Robbie Adkins, C. J. Huling and Mercer Phillips; and her granddaughter Betty Dow Templeton of Valdosta. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Rather than flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to either the Charlton County High School Drama Department, 994 Indian Trail, Folkston, GA 31537 or Folkston Methodist Church, P. O. Box 396, Folkston, GA 31537.
