He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Arnold and Ellen Geneva Arnold (Barber); his son Jerome Arnold, III; his grandson Shaun McClung; his sister Gwanis Freeman Johns; and the mother of his children Carolyn Arnold (Weaver).
He is survived by: his wife Nella J "Butch" Arnold; his children, Vicky L. Rushing of Fernandina Beach, Carol D. Arnold of Waycross Georgia and Grady D. Arnold of Hilliard; his sisters, Imogene Smith, Janice Stokes of Fernandina Beach, Geraldine "Jerri" Miles of Monroe Louisiana and Wanda Arnold of Hilliard; and his stepsons, Leland, Dean Higginbotham of Hilliard and Garland Higginbotham of Orlando. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church (550920 US-1, Hilliard, FL 32046). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
