With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor Y. Cook (Fernandina Beach, Florida), born in Jacksonville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Eleanor shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eleanor farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Parker and Mattie Sikes Parker; and her brothers, Floyd Thompson, Julian Thompson, Johnny Parker, Kenny Parker and James Parker.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar G. Cook of Fernandina Beach; her children, Gerald Cook (Cindy) of Jacksonville and Karen Cook of Fernandina Beach; and her brother Earl Wayne Parker (Becky) of Palm Coast. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
