With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Demory Walker (Fernandina Beach, Florida), born in Waycross, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. "Jimmy" Walker and Myrtle Anna Sceals Walker; and his siblings, James Walker and Wynelle Walker Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Libby Smith Walker of Waycross; his daughters, Laura Walker Edgar and Anna Freedman (Matt); his grandchildren, Iain Edgar (Angie), Avery Elizabeth Freedman, Haven Alexander Freedman and Ted Elijah Freedman; and his sister-in-law Joyce Walker.
