He is survived by: his wife Anuradha Patel; his children, Dr. Rubal Patel, Shefali Patel and Gaurang Patel; his children-in-law, Sejal Patel and John Mobley; his grandchildren, Ishana and Shailen Patel; and his stepgrandchildren, Ansley and Ian Mobley.
