He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ponto and Grace Ponto; and his brother-in-law George Jay Korous. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Ponto and Joseph Ponto; his sister Janet Korous; his nephew Peter Sellers (Erika); and his niece Kathryn Steenwyk (John).
