With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Herman Sohl Jr. of Eustis, Florida, born in Lakeland, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John Herman departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John Herman may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John Herman leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herman and Annie Mae Sohl; and his wife Audrey Alice Sohl. He is survived by: his children, John H. Sohl, III (Gayle), Mark H. Sohl, Sr. (Bonnie), Peggy Hutchison (Garret) and Dottie Ogaz (Jody). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, two step grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
