He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Napier and Edith Napier (Tichenor); and his brother Howard E. Napier. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Napier (Johnson); and his sons, Alan Napier (Marcia) of Brentwood, TN and Robert "Bob" Napier (Jeanne) of Long Valley, NJ. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
