He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Ganpat Rai and Shanti Devi Sethi; and his brother Ramesh Sethi (Kailash). He is survived by: his siblings, Ved Taneja (Janak Raj), Subash Sethi (Prem), Satya Bedi (Mammohan), Vimal Piplani (Saroop) and Shashi Kishore (Ranjan); his wife Dr. Usha Sethi; his sons, Manu (Sangeetha) and Neil (Manisha); and his grandchildren, Sareena, Meera, Dev, Rohan, Raina and Ria. He is also survived by his family, extended relatives and friends.

His philanthropy and charity went beyond words.
