He is survived by: his wife Susie Flanagan; his siblings, Shirley McGuire and Robert Flanagan; his children, Mathew Flanagan (Renee) and Annie Miebs (Ben); his stepdaughter Shawn Nelson (Jason); his grandchildren, Tavian, Tayana, Averee, Jack, Dylan, Ellie and Tess; his nieces, Lynne Waddell and Callie Bray; his great-niece Macy Lancaster; and his children, Helen, Vernon Franklin Flanagan, Sr., Senior Airman and Frank.
