He was predeceased by : his parents, Douglas Gibbs Jr. and Marilyn Oviatt (Spelman); and his wife Bonita Ann Oviatt. He is survived by : his sons, Timothy K. Oviatt of Nahant, MA and Peter G. Oviatt (Jamie McPartland); his brothers, Douglas Oviatt III (Jackie) and Jeffrey Oviatt (Cindy) of Cleveland, OH; and his granddaughter Oksana L. Oviatt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Roger's name may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs.
