With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael W. Megginson of Estero, Florida, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Megginson and Leila Boblitt Megginson; and his brother Norman Megginson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Colson; his children, Amie Austin (Bryce) of Lakeville, MN, Bryan Megginson (Kara) of Pawnee, IL and Chad Megginson (Jessica) of Pawnee, IL; his grandchildren, Blake, Kayla, Lane, Lydia, Lance Megginson, Liam and Kellen Austin; and his sister Carole Christner of Orlando, FL..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
