She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Fownes and Clara Fownes (Dearborn); and her brother Allen Fownes. She is survived by: her husband Jon M. McLain; her daughters, Jennifer McLemore (James) of Richmond, VA and Melissa Coffin (Charles) of New Canaan, CT.; and her grandchildren, Benjamin, William McLemore, Henry, Imogen and Beatrice Coffin.
