We bid farewell to Kevin D. Lowney of Estero, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Kevin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Harrington Lowney and Cornelius Lowney of Bere Island, Ireland.; his brothers, Brendan Lowney and Martin Lowney; and his granddaughter Katrina Lowney.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Lowney (Doherty); his daughters, Carrie Lowney, Kathleen Lowney, Kristen Lowney (Chris Kelly) and Karen Lowney; and his grandchildren, Peter Kelly, Daniel Kelly, Carolyn Kelly, Rosie Soo and Sydney Soo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home (28300 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Light Parish Life Center (19680 Cypress View Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33967). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Grandezza Country Club (11481 Grande Oaks Blvd, Estero, FL 33928).
