She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gifford and Susie Juanita Gifford (Everett); and her brother Bobby Gifford. She is survived by: her husband John "Skip" Carr; her children, John Carr of Port Charlotte, FL, Christy Carr-Swathwood (Ray) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Carolyn Carr of Bonita Springs, FL; her sister Kathy Plez (Jim) of Flagler Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Kevin Carr (Melissa), Michael Coats (Vanessa), Cayla Slorp (Arron) and Emma Hubbard (Jaron); and her great grandchildren, Kassandra, John, Skylar, Peyton, Mia and Eugene.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home (28300 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134).
