Sand Jr. of Estero, Florida, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. and Marcella H. Sand, Sr. (Lynch). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn A. Sand of Estero, FL; his children, Jason P. Sand of Denver, CO and Kelly L. Rubin (Jamie) of Arlington, VA; his grandchildren, Logan J. Sand, Zachary P. Rubin, Grace R. Rubin and Elizabeth R. Rubin; and his siblings, James R. Sand (Carol) of Cape Coral, FL and Judith Kirk (Donald Kirk) of Carmel, CA..
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of John be made to the Alzheimer's Association Florida Gulf Coast Chapter or to the Parkinson Foundation 200 SE 1st St., Ste. 1509, Miami, FL 33131.
