She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Huevel and Archie Van Den Huevel; and her sister Sylvia (Underwood). She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Carrol), John, Jr. (Patty) and Gail Gilstad (Allan); and her husband John Sr. of Moore's Chapel United Methodist Church. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
