He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hardisty and Edna Grace Hardisty; and his siblings, Willard, Ronald Hardisty, Lou Ann Engelman, Jean Bojrab and Marilee Young.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hardisty of Estero Florida; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Harber of Estero Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
