He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Dinkins and Wanda Dinkins (Windham); and his brother Kenneth Wayne Dinkins. He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Dinkins of Estero, FL; his children, James M. Dinkins, Jr. of Canada, Jessica Renée Carlisle of Longview, TX and Melissa S. Dickerson of Keithville, LA; and his brothers, Edward Dinkins, Raymond Dinkins, Ruell Dinkins and Ronnie Dinkins. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 stepchildren.
