He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Claire and Signe Avilda Gerou. He is survived by: his wife Kay M. Gerou of Estero, FL; his daughters, Christina Horsman (Thomas) of Estero, FL and Maria Glodek (Stephen) of Coon Rapids, MN; his stepchildren, John K. Schermann (Jennifer) of Zimmerman, MN and Lora Lee Knutson of New Hope, MN.; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Heintz (Jackson), Lucas Richmond, Jay John Stafsholt, Benjamin Richmond and Nicholas Richmond; and his great grandchildren, Joel Heintz and Eleanor Heintz.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stoneybrook Estero Community Center (11800 Stoneybrook Golf Dr, Estero, FL 33928).
