She is survived by : her husband Brent Lecheler; her son Nic Lecheler; her brother Don Totaro (Melanie); her nephews, Doug Totaro (Jessica) and Derek Totaro (Megan); her uncle Joseph; and her aunt Margaret Schmitt. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doreen's name may be made to Project CURE.
