He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sherman and Elizabeth Sherman (Maurer); and his siblings, Pearl Wright, Carrie Sherman, Lawrence and Wilbert Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Karen Benninghoff (Craig) of South Bend, Dale Sherman (Cindy) of Eureka, IL and Dennis Sherman (Cindy) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Dawn Stroup (Matt), Bryan Sherman (Christie), Justin Sherman (Emily), Brad Sherman (Ashley), Jessica Concannon (Tim), Nicole Sponseller (Casey) and Sarah Pemberton (Josh); and his sister Louise Cox of Orchard Park, NY.. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Donald E. Sherman may be donated to the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, 11203 Michigan Road, Plymouth, IN 46563.
