He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Cox and Mary Cox; his wife Betty Cox; and his siblings, Forest Cox (Sarah), Gertrude Chaney (Joe), Esther Jones (Clement) and Max Cox (Joan).
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Mark Stukey and Rita Alexander (Steve); his stepgrandchildren, John Stukey (Mischelle), Brandi Osler (Jarrett), Sheena Alexander and Ashleigh Mason Alexander; and his nephews, David Jones and Michael Cox (Linae). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
