He was predeceased by : his wife Evelyn Renn of Carlstadt, NJ.; and his son Allen Higgins III. He is survived by : his children, Cheryl Zarillo (Mike O'Connor), Bryan Higgins (Awilda Gonzalez) and Dawn Higgins; and his grandchildren, Allen Higgins IV, Michael Zarillo, Matthew Zarillo, Bryan Higgins Jr., Kaitlin Carroll, Tanner Melendez, Troy Melendez, Trevor Melendez and Ashley Lance. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The American Liver Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
