It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Will Lloyd of Englewood, Florida, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Samuel Will Lloyd to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lloyd and Nellie Lloyd (Will); his siblings, Garrett, Donald, Clyde, Harold Dean and Pauline Boxell; and his daughter Cheryl Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Jean Lloyd (Baker); and his daughters, Gail Lynne Lloyd of Huntington Indiana and Teresa Renee Korson (Michael) of Rotonda West. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Englewood Methodist Church (Doan Chapel) (700 E Dearborn St, Englewood, FL 34223).
He took special interest in the Helping Hands organization, collecting food from his fellow residents in Brook to Bay Mobile Home Park to donate to the needy.
