It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald F. Smith of Englewood, Florida, born in Ogdensburg, New York, who passed away on December 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Smith and Vivian Smith; his sister Carol Shippey; his father-in-law Joseph Badran; and his brother-in-law Jack Wainwright.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Badran; his children, Jeffrey Smith (Chandra) and Christine Hayden (Scott); his grandchildren, Taylor Hayden, Brendan Hayden, Alec Smith (Caroline), Holly Smith and Luke Smith; his great grandchild Jonathan; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor Kruse (Eric) and Isaiah; his sisters, Nancy Wainwright and Charlotte Wainwright (Jim); his mother-in-law Elizabeth Badran; his nephew Mark Wainwright; and his niece Carol DeLeon (Ramon DeLeon). He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
