He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wittel and Mildred Wittel (Karge); his siblings, Charles, George and LaVerne Mazzaro (Wittel); and his siblings-in-law, Madge Wittel (Friewald), Ann Wittel (Bull), Virginia Carr (Merry), Joe Mazzaro and Roy O'Neil.
He is survived by: his wife Michaele H Wittel (Carr); his children, Richard Wittel, Jr. (Kerry) of Lake Worth, FL, Donna Stroffolino (Joseph) of Manahawkin, NJ and Kenneth Wittel (Cheryl) of Windsor, VT.; his siblings, Edward, Robert and Jane O'Neil of New Jersey; and his child Mom. He is also survived by 8 grand-children, 2 great-grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
