He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew George Smahol and Doris Harriett Russell Smahol. He is survived by: his wife Lori Reed-Smahol; his daughters, Nicole Fry and Jessica Lemboris (Jesse); his son-in-law Michael Fry; his grandchildren, Joshua, Kyra Fry, Ayden, Riley, Andrew and Avery Lemboris; his siblings, Joanne Altre, Daniel Smahol (Ann), Susan Gray (James) and Carol Maslanka (Daryl); and his sister-in-law Halle Reed (Charlie Price). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in Rich's memory, to the Tidewell Foundation.
