He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delbert Campbell and Mayme Campbell (Teague); his sisters, Maleta Knebel, Betty Winkler and Deb Buechlein; his wife Mary Lou Campbell (Fleck) of Jasper; his sons, David of Tyler, TX, Donald of Englewood, FL and Dean of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Andrea Campbell, Michaela Hamm, Breann Campbell and Paige Campbell; and his stepgranddaughter Tonya Moore Hief. He was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
