He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas H. Gilroy; and his brothers, Thomas Gilroy and Robert Gilroy. He is survived by: his parent Rose Gilroy (Hetherington); his spouse Diane Gilroy (Gay); his daughter Amy Cheney; his son-in-law David Cheney of Whitehall, NY; his grandson Kevin Berry of Brattleboro, VT.; his stepdaughter Renee Mothershed (Bobby) of Denton, NC; and his sister-in-law Donna Gilroy of Yorktown, VA.. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack's memory to the American Cancer Society.
