He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Foster and Jean Foster; his parents-in-law, Karl and Alberta Kapner; and his stepbrother Phil Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Hella Foster; his children, John Foster (Donna) and Janet Lambe (Troy); his brother-in-law Alan Kapner; his grandchildren, Tyler, Casey, Arden and Kyle; and his brothers, Walter and Richard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
