He is survived by: his former wife Mary; his wife Cathy Kohl; his sister Dora Chamberlin; his children, Amy O'Brien and Scott Munsell; and his stepchildren, David, Doug, Steve Nordstrom, Kris Hayes, Caroline Gannon (Kohl) and Julia Vietor (Kohl). He is also survived by the extended family are 15 adult grandchildren and an infant great-grandchild.
