It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas J. Upton of Englewood, Florida, born in Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Upton and Celista Upton (Folkerth); and his brother Cyrus Upton. He is survived by: his wife Julie (Sechler); his children, Steve Upton (Christa), Dave Upton (Jenny) and Tammy Smith (Jared); and his grandchildren, Caleb Upton (Kate), Nathan Upton, Kelsy Campbell (Drew), Alyssa Upton and Sarah Upton.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association or Tidewell Hospice.
