It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Schontag in Englewood, Florida, born in Wauchula, Florida, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward "Stanley" Schontag, Jr.; and her parents, Roy Roberts and Grace Jones Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Susan Keene (Ron) of Punta Gorda, FL, Keith Watson (Selina) of Baton Rouge, LA and Kevin Watson (Nicole) of Cleveland, Texas; her stepchildren, Laren Chester (West) of Ellaville and Steven Schontag (Cheri) of Wauchula, FL; and her brothers, Robert Roberts (Brenda) of Ona, FL and Rev. Michael Roberts (Ellen) of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
