With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Bailey of Englewood, Florida, who passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Bill leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Bill may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Cecelia O'Connell Bailey and Clarence William Bailey of Wheeling; his wife Phyllis DiStefano Bailey; and his son Francis Timothy. He is survived by: his children, Karen Pouzol (Philip) of Blue Hill and Michael Bailey (Jean) of Wheeling; his granddaughters, Stephanie (Michael Cabral) of Orrington and Jessica (Tyler King) of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania; and his great grandchildren, Corinne, Simon and Bodie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel (118 Grant Ave, Moundsville, WV 26041). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Church (710 Jefferson Ave, Glen Dale, WV 26038).
