We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2020, at the age of 93, Bernice Elizabeth Bennett of Englewood, Florida, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Mason and Julius Mason; her stepson Brian Bennett; her former husband Thomas Cheske, Sr.; her husband Hugh Bennett; and her siblings, Beatrice Haustein, Tony and George Mason.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Jeleniewski (Phillip) and Thomas Cheske, Jr. (Anita); her daughter-in-law Wendy Terpstra (Jerry); her grandchildren, Eric Cheske (Silvia), Samantha Sauline (Derek) and Blake Cheske (Kacy); her great grandchildren, Evan, Gabriel, Noah, Hailey, Owen, Alleayah, Daniel and Elijah; and her stepchildren, Deaune Cudek (Ken), Sharon LaRue (Mark), Melinda Loftus (Mike) and Bradley Bennett (Denise).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Assoc. at Alz.org.
