She was predeceased by: her parent Helinda Barr. She is survived by: her father Donald E. Barr of Palmetto; her husband Eugene "Gene" Nicalek; and her children, Leslie Roman and Donald Nicalek. She is also survived by her grandsons and granddaughter; and her brother and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Shirley's memory be made to Tidewell Hospice.
