She was predeceased by: her parents, August Oscar and Mary Geniese Naessens (Champ); and her husband Dennis. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Hooton of South Bend, Scott Hooton (Patty) of Southwest Ranches, FL, Matthew Young (Stacy Menzie) of Nappanee and Ryan Young of Elkhart; and her siblings, Charlotte Shafer, Jim Naessens, Nancy Scott and Frances Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
