It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Bates (Ellenton, Florida), born in Gurley, Alabama, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Dave Bates; her sons, Randy (DeeDee) and Jeff (Kela); her granddaughters, Tra'kela and Taraji; and her brother Donald Key (JoAnn).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tidewell Hospice.
